Join a leading healthcare provider as a CT Technologist in Rochester, NY! We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services. This contract position offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment while making a difference in patient care.

CT Technologist Duties and Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan, strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
• Position patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling.
• Maintain accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC, including identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Requirements:

• HCPs currently registered in NYS will be required to have injection therapy certification stated on their license at time of submission.
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• NYS licensure must be obtained PRIOR to starting position.
• Two (2) years' experience.
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience.
• BLS American Heart Association ONLY - Telemetry.

Preferred:

• Injection certification preferred - must be willing to complete during orientation process.
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred.
