Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse – ICU

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients with complex medical, surgical, or cardiac conditions.
• Monitor hemodynamics, ventilators, and patient stability continuously.
• Administer medications, titrate IV drips, and perform advanced interventions safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, critical care procedures, and recovery expectations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with ICU and facility standards.
• Promote patient safety and deliver evidence-based intensive care nursing.

Requirements for the Travel Registered Nurse – ICU Role

• Active Texas RN license or eligibility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent ICU nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
