Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for an RN – PACU in Asheville, NC. This assignment consists of 12-hour day shifts, three days per week, totaling 36 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,050.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – PACU:

Provide immediate post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures

Monitor vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness during the recovery phase

Administer medications, pain management, and IV therapies as prescribed

Assess patients for complications related to anesthesia or surgery and respond promptly

Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams to ensure safe patient recovery

Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions and discharge planning

Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress

Ensure adherence to patient safety, infection control, and recovery room protocols

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state license

Minimum 1–2 years of recent PACU, ICU, or critical care experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

PALS certification preferred depending on facility requirements

Strong patient assessment and post-anesthesia monitoring skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment
