Description

Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric RN for an established behavioral health unit in Asheville, North Carolina. This day‑shift role is ideal for a nurse confident in providing trauma‑informed, de‑escalation‑focused, patient‑centered psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic nursing care to adult psychiatric patients
Conduct mental‑status assessments and monitor safety
Support medication administration and behavioral interventions
Implement de‑escalation and crisis‑management strategies
Collaborate with psychiatry, social work, therapy, and allied teams
Maintain thorough EMR documentation

Schedule Details

3×12‑hour day shifts
36 hours/week
13‑week assignment

Qualifications

Active RN license (NC or compact)
Minimum 1 year recent psychiatric/behavioral health RN experience
BLS required; CPI/PMAB preferred
Strong communication and crisis‑management skills
