Description

Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled CVICU Registered Nurse for a leading cardiovascular critical‑care unit in Asheville, North Carolina. This day‑shift role is perfect for an RN experienced in managing post‑operative open‑heart, ECMO, Impella, vasoactive drips, and high‑acuity cardiac patients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide critical‑care nursing for complex cardiac patients
Manage invasive monitoring, ventilators, vasopressors, and advanced cardiac devices
Perform rapid cardiac assessments and respond to emergent changes
Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families through recovery
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in EMR

Schedule Details

3×12‑hour day shifts
36 hours/week
13‑week assignment

Qualifications

Active RN license (NC or compact)
Minimum 1 year recent CVICU or high‑acuity ICU experience
BLS & ACLS required; CCRN preferred
Strong cardiac‑critical‑care competencies
