Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

Perform high‑quality CT scans following radiologist‑approved protocols
Operate advanced imaging equipment safely and effectively
Position patients accurately to obtain optimal image quality
Administer IV contrast as required and monitor patient responses
Maintain accurate documentation and verify patient identification
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and emergency staff
Ensure adherence to radiation‑safety and infection‑control standards
Assist in emergency and trauma imaging when needed

Requirements of the CT Technologist

Active ARRT (CT) certification
Arizona state licensure (if required by facility)
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years’ recent CT experience in a hospital setting
