Description

Seven Healthcare is excited to offer a high‑earning CVOR opportunity for a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room RN in Kansas City, Kansas. This assignment features a weekly blended rate of $3,800, based on four 10‑hour day shifts per week. This role is ideal for a CVOR nurse experienced in circulating and/or scrubbing for advanced cardiovascular procedures in a high‑acuity perioperative environment.

Key Responsibilities of the CVOR RN

Provide expert perioperative nursing care for CABG, valve, aortic, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
Circulate and/or scrub, maintaining strict sterile technique and CVOR protocols
Prepare surgical suites, equipment, and instruments
Anticipate surgeon and anesthesia team needs throughout procedures
Monitor hemodynamics and patient safety during cardiovascular cases
Perform accurate counts and maintain precise documentation
Support postoperative handoff to ICU and recovery teams

Requirements of the CVOR RN

Active Kansas RN license or compact eligibility
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR or high‑acuity OR experience
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instruments and procedures
