Job Title: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Location: Jersey City, NJ 07306 (Northern New Jersey, near New York City)
Assignment Length: 9 weeks (September 29, 2025 – December 1, 2025)
Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
Shifts: Multiple 12-hour shifts (Days, Mid, Nights)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1400-$1500

ER RN Qualifications

Active and unrestricted New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care or Emergency Room nursing experience
Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care abilities

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent medical conditions
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions in the EMR
Offer compassionate support to patients and families during emergencies
