Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 2, 2024 – September 1, 2024)
Healthcare Setting: Cath Lab / Vascular Access Unit
Shift: 8-hour day shifts
Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,170 - $2,320 per week
Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN or Vascular Access nursing experience required
Current and valid BLS certification
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinical environment

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and vascular access procedures
Monitor patient status, vital signs, and respond to changes during procedures
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all safety and infection control protocols
Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and post-procedure care
