Travel Nursing Job Details

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
Location: Ithaca, NY 14850
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Healthcare Setting: Surgical Services – Operating Room
Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, with call required
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030 - $2180
Start Date: May 26, 2025
End Date: August 25, 2025

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong clinical knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical support skills
Ability to participate in scheduled call rotation

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care during surgical procedures
Prepare the operating room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready
Assist surgeons and surgical teams throughout procedures
Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold infection control standards
Participate in call rotation as required
