Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Clinton, Maryland 20735 (Greater Washington, DC area)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1890-$2030
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: February 16, 2026
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Call Requirement: 36 hours per 6 weeks (on premises within 45 minutes of call)
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend/holiday as needed
• Float Requirement: Required to float to like units (e.g., Mom/Baby) before permanent staff
• Scrubs: Provided
• Charting System: Cerner

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Compact or Maryland RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• High-risk Labor & Delivery experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., AWHONN Intermediate (AWHONN Advanced preferred)
• Must register for C-EFM during compliance or within first two weeks of assignment (C-EFM through NCC preferred)
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Willingness to float to similar units as needed

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-risk, fast-paced clinical setting
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with high-risk deliveries
• Perform fetal heart monitoring and triage obstetrical patients
• Recognize and manage abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Precept and serve as charge nurse as needed
• Float to Mom/Baby or similar units as required
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Respond to call requirements and be on-site within 45 minutes when called
