Location: Plano, TX 75075 (North Texas Division)
Healthcare Setting: Oncology Unit
Employment Type: Travel Nursing – Oncology RN
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)
Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7PM – 7AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1260-$1350

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
At least 1 year of recent experience in Oncology nursing or Medical-Surgical nursing
BLS certification required
Strong clinical skills with ability to work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Oncology RN Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients
Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and accurately document care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families about oncology treatments, recovery, and ongoing care
Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and clinical staff
