Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Wichita, Kansas 67214
- Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit (26 beds)
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

- End Date: October 26, 2025
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Self-Scheduling: Yes – flexible scheduling for work-life balance
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930–$2070
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Kansas or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (2+ years preferred)
- Experience circulating C-sections in a hospital setting
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and clinical skills
- BLS certification required (ACLS, NRP, or other certifications a plus)
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Assist and circulate for C-sections and procedures (inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, Doppler)
- Monitor patients using advanced clinical equipment (Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, GE monitors)
- Collaborate with experienced nursing staff and healthcare leadership
- Document patient care in CPN Gold and Meditech EMR systems
- Follow unit guidelines and hospital policies, including Oxytocin protocols
- Promote a positive, team-oriented environment focused on patient safety and satisfaction
