Telemetry RN Job Details

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas (4th Floor)
Unit: Heart Telemetry (25 beds)
Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse
Start Date: December 1, 2025
End Date: March 2, 2026
Assignment Length: 13-week contract
Shift: 7AM – 7PM (12-hour day shifts)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1360-$1460
Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required
Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical RN experience
Experience with Meditech EMR – preferred
Telemetry nursing experience – preferred

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients in the Heart Telemetry unit
Manage chest tubes and non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
Administer and monitor weight-based heparin drips
Operate Baxter IV pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and unit coordinators
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment
