ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Boston, MA 02114 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
• Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: January 11, 2026
• End Date: April 11, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays required
• Openings: 2 Emergency Room RN positions available
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
• Current Emergency Room RN certification (ACLS, BLS, and PALS preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience in acute care or emergency nursing
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience and Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Eligible candidates must have last name starting with A-L (see separate posting for M-Z)
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Completion of all onboarding requirements (background checks, health screenings, skills checklist, etc.)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and manage acute and emergent patient conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to protocols
• Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with hospital policies
• Participate in ongoing professional development and emergency nursing training
