Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Salem, MA 01970 (North Shore, Greater Boston area)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/14/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Medical Telemetry (Pingree 5 Unit, 24 beds)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights; every other weekend required)
• Charting System: EPIC EMR
• RN to Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
• Floating: Required as needed to other units
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Current and active Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Telemetry Registered Nurse
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Strong skills in reading and interpreting cardiac telemetry strips
• Experience with adult medical patient populations in an inpatient setting
• Ability to work rotating shifts and float as needed
• Completion of all required onboarding health screenings and background checks

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a medical telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips, responding promptly to patient changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Float to other hospital units as required to support patient care needs
• Participate in shift rotations, including days, evenings, nights, and every other weekend
