California CVOR RN Job Details

• Location: Burlingame, CA 94010 (San Francisco Peninsula)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing, On-Site
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:45 - 17:15), weekend rotation, no on-call
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,600 - $2,790
• Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active California RN license (required for California nursing jobs)
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
• Experience in Orthopedics, Vascular, and Robotic Surgery preferred
• Scrubbing experience highly recommended
• Travel nurse experience required
• Epic electronic charting experience preferred
• All certifications must be current and from the American Heart Association
• Availability for lab work within 3-5 days of signing

CVOR RN Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients
• Provide direct patient care and education in an acute CVOR setting
• Develop and implement individualized care plans considering psychological, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff
• Participate in weekend rotations and float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic and other electronic charting systems
• Foster a positive, supportive environment for patients and families
