Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Clinton, Maryland (Zip: 20735) – Greater Washington, D.C. area
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 per week (36 or 48 hours/week)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1890-$2030
• Call Requirement: 36 hours per 6 weeks (onsite within 45 minutes)
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend & holiday required
• Floating: Required to float to related units such as Mom/Baby

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery RN experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• Active compact or Maryland RN license
• C-EFM certification (NCC)
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Ability to float to similar clinical units
• Two supervisor references
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver expert care to high-risk labor and delivery patients, including neonates and adults
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and circulate for C-sections
• Monitor and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Triage obstetrical patients and manage high-risk antepartum cases
• Utilize external fetal monitoring and advanced obstetric nursing skills
• Float to Mom/Baby and similar clinical support units as required
• Participate in self-scheduling and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with documentation and hospital policies
