ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Flu vaccine required
• Ability to pass background checks and healthcare screenings (MMR, TB, Fit Test, etc.)
• Strong clinical skills and adaptability in acute care and critical care environments

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress in acute care settings
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery processes
• Participate in day/night and weekend shift rotations as scheduled
