• Location: Johnson City, NY 13790 (Southern Tier, New York)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (Start: 12/18/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)
• Schedule: 40 hours/week (choose 4 x 10-hour or 5 x 8-hour day shifts, 0700-1530/1730)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2800-$3000
• On-Call: At least once per week and every fourth weekend; additional on-call available
• Holiday Coverage: On-call required for evening/night of 12/24
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing (W2)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse License
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (6 months to 3 years preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
• ACLS Certification
• Apex (Stroke education/NIHSS)
• Strong collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Preferred: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN), CCRN, and previous acute care or ambulatory experience

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients
• Serve as primary/accountable nurse for assigned Cath Lab patients
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health promotion and disease management
• Safely administer medications and adhere to hospital policies
• Participate in shared governance, unit council, and quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in professional development and mandatory healthcare education
• Integrate nursing research and evidence-based practice in cardiac care
• Support new employees and nursing students in a collaborative learning environment
• Perform Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator duties as assigned
• Other clinical support duties as assigned
