ER RN Travel Job Details

- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract
- Unit: Emergency Department (Level 1 Trauma Center)
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- End Date: April 5, 2026
- Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Openings: 2 ER RN positions available
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 – $2,310
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required
- TNCC certification required
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Ability to complete all onboarding health and competency requirements
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and critical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
