Home Health RN Job Details

• Location: College Park, GA 30337 (Atlanta metro area)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,923 - $2,136
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Shifts per Week: 5 (8-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Patient Load: 5–8 home health patients per day
• Travel Radius: Up to 75 miles from home clinic (average 30–40 miles/day, up to 200 miles/week)
• Dress Code: Scrubs
• EMR: HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB), OASIS documentation
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (W2 contract)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent adult home health or hospice RN experience
• Current CPR and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and OASIS documentation (recent use within 6 months preferred; retraining available)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and liability insurance
• Ability to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic for patient visits
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Weekend and on-call rotation may be required
• Local Registered Nurses accepted at the same rate
• First-time travel nurses not accepted; must have recent specialty experience in home health or hospice

Homecare RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to home health patients in accordance with physician orders and agency policies
• Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and LPNs/LVNs
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, wound care, start of care, and follow-up visits
• Document patient care and progress using HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and OASIS
• Maintain productivity standards (30 points per week) and manage a daily caseload of 5–8 patients
• Participate in office meetings, required training, and ongoing professional development
• Deliver nursing care in patient homes and care facilities as needed
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotation as required
