• Location: Orwigsburg, PA 17961 (Schuylkill County)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Med/Surg & Telemetry Unit
• Contract Length: 13-week nursing contract
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week (6:45pm – 7:15am)
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Rotation: Every other weekend & every other holiday required
• Hourly Pay Rate: $82.77
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000–$2100

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing experience
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Med/Surg & Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on the Med/Surg & Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients and healthcare colleagues
