Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Jersey City, NJ 07302 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Level 2 Trauma Center – Operating Room
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 30, 2026
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2410 - $2580
• Call: 2x per schedule
• Charting System: EPIC (electronic medical records)
• Scrubs Provided
• First-time travel nurses welcome!

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license (required at time of application)
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred for OR RN jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Operating Room RN experience
• Proficient in both circulating and scrubbing roles
• Robotic and ENT surgical experience required
• Experience with orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgeries required
• Level 2 Trauma Center experience preferred
• Ability to float within skillset as needed
• Submit recent work history and Scrub/Circulate skills checklist

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care for diverse patient populations (all OR specialties except open heart)
• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures, including robotic, ENT, ortho, vascular, neuro, and general surgeries
• Participate in call rotation (2x per schedule)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and documentation
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Float to other units within skillset as needed based on census and staffing needs
