Job Details – Des Moines Nursing Assignment

• Location: Des Moines, Iowa (50314) – Iowa nursing jobs
• Assignment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Unit: Resource Pool – Med/Surg Telemetry
• Start Date: December 7, 2025
• End Date: March 7, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 10 Hour Days (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,810 – $1,950

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – Iowa or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• BLS certification (required)
• Ability to float within the Resource Pool as needed
• Compliance with all healthcare onboarding requirements (health screenings, background check, competency testing, etc.)

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Participate in unit meetings and quality improvement initiatives
