Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Pueblo, CO 81003 (Colorado travel nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- End Date: April 6, 2026
- Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00), various days
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
- Patient Ratio: 1:2-1:3
- Charting System: Epic EMR
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $2040
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Colorado or Compact RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or CVICU nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Ability to float to all ICU units and Med/Surg as needed
- First-time travel nurses welcome
CVICU RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a CVICU setting
- Care for post-operative heart and vascular surgery patients, as well as those with sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, and other critical conditions
- Monitor and manage advanced cardiovascular equipment (Impella, IABP, Flotrac/EV1000)
- Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Interpret arterial blood gases and cardiac dysrhythmias
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and more
- Float to other ICU units and Med/Surg as needed
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation using Epic EMR
