Travel ICU Nurse Job Details

• Unit: 19-bed Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU)
• Start Date: December 28, 2025
• End Date: March 28, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Assignment: 2-3:1 ratio
• Float Requirement: May float to other ICU or Step-down units as needed

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• RN Critical Care certification (CCRN) preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (Neurosurgical ICU experience highly preferred)
• Proficient in invasive intracranial pressure monitoring and frequent neurological assessments
• Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and routine CT, MRI, and Angio procedures
• Current immunizations and health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD)
• Completion of skills checklist, competency exam, and background checks required
• Valid Driver's License or State ID required for submission

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver expert critical care to patients with acute neurological and neurosurgical conditions
• Monitor and manage invasive intracranial pressure devices in a Neuro ICU setting
• Perform frequent and thorough neurological assessments
• Provide advanced hemodynamic monitoring and interpret diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, Angio)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Float to other ICU or step-down units as needed to support patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and clinical support
