Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44195 – University Circle
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Med/Surg Telemetry Unit
• Contract Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: January 30, 2026 – End: May 1, 2026)
• Nursing Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State nursing license
• Current certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• One supervisory reference in Med/Surg Telemetry specialty required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to work every other holiday during contract
• Background check and fingerprinting required

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms, respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and document care according to hospital protocols
• Participate in rotating day and night shifts to support unit operations
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety standards and regulatory requirements
