Job Details – Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Glens Falls, New York (12801) – New York nursing jobs
• Assignment Type: Travel RN
• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Start Date: January 8, 2026
• End Date: April 9, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: Days – 4x10 hour shifts or 5x8 hour shifts (select at offer)
• On-Call: 1-2 nights per week as needed
• Weekends: Every 4 weeks
• Dress Code: Personal scrubs (any color, no designs or cartoons, no hoodies)

Qualifications – Cath Lab Registered Nurse

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• 2+ years in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Active New York RN license (required for New York healthcare jobs)
• ACLS and BLS certifications (must upload with application)
• Moderate Sedation Certification – highly preferred
• Experience with cath and peripheral procedures, STEMI and STEMI call
• Proficient in EKG and hemodynamic pressure tracing interpretation
• Conscious sedation and IV experience
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience – highly preferred
• Reliable transportation (must have own vehicle)
• Strong patient care orientation and reliable attendance
• Completion of verbal de-escalation training (Welle or CPI) prior to onboarding
• Ability to pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Permanent address must match your ID and be included in your profile
• Travelers from select NY counties not eligible (see posting for details)

Responsibilities – Cath Lab RN

• Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for inpatients and outpatients
• Position and immobilize patients per clinical protocols
• Monitor and assess patient hemodynamics, alerting physicians to changes
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation
• Prepare and maintain IV/IC infusions and boluses
• Assist physicians during cardiac interventional procedures
• Recover patients to Phase I post-procedure
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency cardiac procedures
• Accurately document all patient care and procedures

Additional Information: Requested time off must be submitted with your application (maximum 5 days). COVID vaccination is encouraged but not required. Orientation is non-billable (8 hours).
