Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Newton Lower Falls, MA 02462 (Greater Boston area)
Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry – Slotnick 6 East
Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
Start Date: January 19, 2026
End Date: April 18, 2026
Duration: 13-week nursing contract
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:15 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours (3x12hr shifts)
Schedule: Every other weekend & rotating holidays
Openings: 6 travel RN positions available

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Massachusetts RN license
At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
Completion of facility orientation and attestation
Current immunizations (MMR, Influenza, TB Test)
Ability to pass background checks and provide professional references
Resume and nursing skills checklist required

RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond to changes in patient status
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed procedures
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Participate in rotating holiday and weekend coverage
