Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience or relevant clinical specialty
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to float to various hospital units as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under physician direction
- Utilize the nursing process to individualize patient care in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Direct nursing support staff according to nursing standards and hospital policies
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing principles, theories, and best practices
- Float to Women and Families Hospital and other units as required
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced ICU environment
