Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license or compact state nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips
• ACLS certification preferred for medical-surgical nurses
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High energy, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to post-operative surgical and medical patients
• Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips (amiodarone, diltiazem, heparin)
• Utilize remote telemetry equipment for continuous clinical monitoring
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including charge nurses and ACTs
• Accurately document patient care and interventions in MediTech EMR
• Contribute to a supportive, hardworking, and positive unit culture
