Key Job Details – Florida Nursing Jobs

• Location: Fort Myers, FL 33908 (Southwest Florida healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (January 19, 2026 – April 18, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days
• Schedule: Thursday & Friday 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call: Required; average 4 calls/month (evening, overnight, backup call types)
• Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric
• Surgical Specialties: ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Ortho, Spine, Neurosurgery
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic EMR
• Floating: Required; may float to sister campuses

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Florida or compact state
• Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience
• Pediatric OR experience required
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Degree from an accredited nursing program or 5 years of OR RN experience
• Ability to float to other units/campuses as needed
• Must provide all required demographic and credentialing information prior to start
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (radius rule)

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to surgical patients in the operating room
• Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures for adult and pediatric patients
• Participate in call rotation as scheduled
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other units or sister campuses as needed
• Integrate quickly into the team and function as core staff
