Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Salem, MA 01970 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Unit: Pingree 4 – 24-Bed Medical Cardiology Unit
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/18/2026 – End: 4/18/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel nursing assignment

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in cardiac/telemetry nursing
• Strong cardiac background with proficiency in interpreting telemetry strips and administering cardiac drips
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred experience: post-cath care, PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation, TR band, femoral approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for cardiac patients
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips according to physician orders
• Provide post-cath care and manage patients with PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to unit protocols
• Educate and support patients and families with compassionate care
