Travel RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Contract – Cardiac Stepdown RN
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Unit: HVTI-Stepdown Float Pool
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Days: 7:00am–7:30pm / Nights: 7:00pm–7:30am)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/30/2026 – End: 5/1/2026)
• Employment Type: On-Site Travel Nursing Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Cardiac Stepdown RN experience required
• Active, unrestricted Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be active)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in Cardiac Stepdown required
• Ability to work at least every other holiday
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a float pool setting
• Monitor and assess patients, administer medications, and manage complex cardiac conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in accordance with hospital policies
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and intervene as necessary
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with safety standards
• Float to other stepdown units as needed to support hospital operations
