Denver Nursing Job Details
- Location: Denver, CO 80218 – Prime Colorado healthcare location near parks, restaurants, and the Rocky Mountains.
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Unit: Main Operating Room (Rapid Response)
- Duration: 8 weeks (Start: 09/29/2025 – End: 11/24/2025)
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Shift: 12 Hour Days (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM), including night and weekend call
- Scheduling Restrictions: No special scheduling requests or requests for time off (RTO) will be accommodated during this assignment.
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Colorado or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing or Rapid Response experience (3+ years preferred)
- Experience in large healthcare facilities highly preferred
- Strong clinical skills in emergency and acute care settings
- Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environments
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Rapidly respond to emergent situations in the operating room and throughout the hospital
- Deliver expert nursing care for surgical cases: total joints, spine, transplants (kidney/liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care and interventions using Meditech EMR
- Participate in night and weekend call rotations as required
- Follow all unit guidelines, hospital policies, and safety protocols
