• End Date: April 21, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); option to request 4x12s for approval
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Orientation: Paid orientation for travel nurses

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of application
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to float to various hospital units as needed
• Must reside more than 75 miles from Rochester, NY (local candidates not eligible)
• First-time travel nurses welcome to apply

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Med/Surg Telemetry units
• Float between hospital units, adapting to new teams and environments
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response/code situations
• Administer oxygen therapy, manage nasal cannulas, non-invasive airway devices, and peripheral lines
• Implement isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care
