ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of facility orientation and required modules
• Pass/fail Tele exam during orientation (passing score: 80%)

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Float between various critical care units as assigned
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using EPIC (preferred)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Make up any missed shifts at the end of the assignment
