Job Details – Florida Travel Nursing Opportunity

• Location: Weston, FL 33331 (South Florida transplant nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Operating Room RN
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Facility
• Start Date: January 20, 2026
• End Date: April 21, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12-hour day shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Call: 1 shift per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts per month
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience with direct involvement in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant surgeries
• Proficient in MISONIX/CUSA surgical equipment
• Experience in organ implantation procedures
• Active Registered Nurse license (Florida RN jobs; pending license accepted)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (at submission); NIHSS (prior to start)
• Nicotine-free (negative cotinine test required)
• Ability to complete time-sensitive onboarding modules
• Willingness to float within scope as needed
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• Must provide all requested time off (RTO) at submission
• 2 references from direct supervisors/managers required
• Must pass EKG and Pharm test during orientation (2 attempts max)

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for advanced transplant surgeries (liver, heart, lung, kidney)
• Operate MISONIX/CUSA technology during surgical procedures
• Participate in organ implantation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Float to other surgical cases as needed
• Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC
• Support training and education of students and new staff in a teaching hospital environment
