Med/Surg RN Job Details

Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (MS/Tele)
Location: Allentown, PA 18104
Contract Length: 13-week nursing contract
Start Date: January 19, 2026
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: Night shift; every other weekend and holiday required
Employment Type: Local, On-Site
Pay Rate: $82.77 per hour (W2)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Pennsylvania RN license
At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with healthcare regulations
