Travel Nursing Job Details

• Hours: 36 hours per week

• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3:00 AM – 3:00 PM), including 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
• Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
• Hourly Pay Rate: $90.00/hr - $100.00/hr

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state
• BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1.5 years of clinical experience in Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary care hospital settings
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience in a large hospital (600+ beds)
• Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with chronic illnesses, infections, neurological conditions, and mental health disorders
• Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Utilize Epic charting, IV pumps, wound vacs, feeding pumps, chest tubes, and other clinical equipment
• Manage heparin and insulin drips, IV therapy, and telemetry monitoring
• Float to various medical units as needed to support patient care and hospital staffing
• Participate in Jump Start orientation, including hospital and nursing orientation, and Epic training
