RN Supervisor Job Details

• Position: RN Supervisor (House Supervisor) – Night Shift
• Location: Dunkirk, NY 14048 (New York nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: On-Site
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: December 25, 2025
• End Date: March 26, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 11.5-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: Alternating 3 nights one week, 4 nights the next; every other weekend required
• Average Hours Per Week: 36/48
• Pay Rate: $100/hr

Registered Nurse Supervisor Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – required for all RN jobs
• Prior nursing experience preferred; prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (facility can assist if not already obtained)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

RN Supervisor Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff during night shifts in a clinical healthcare setting
• Coordinate patient care activities and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Serve as the primary resource for clinical and operational issues during assigned shifts
• Support staff development and foster a positive work environment for healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergencies and facilitate effective communication between hospital departments
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care in all nursing activities
