Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: 12 Hour Days (07:00-19:00)
Hours per Week: 36
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Orientation: Offered twice monthly

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
Experience with post-surgical and orthopedic patients preferred
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Strong communication and clinical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to medical/surgical patients
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families on post-surgical care and recovery
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
