• End Date: July 19, 2026
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys verification required) – California RN license preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability to float between hospital units and work weekends as needed
• Completion of all compliance requirements prior to start (Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam, Rhythm Interpretation Screening, Core Competencies Exam, Skills Checklist, Specialty Exam)
• Current immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test)
• Professional documentation (Driver's License/State ID, Resume, References, Education Verification, Criminal Background Check, Drug Screening)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float between units to support patient care needs as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
