• Facility Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab (Hospital)
• Assignment Type: Travel Cath Lab Tech job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: February 9, 2026
• End Date: May 11, 2026
• Shift: 8-hour days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; may vary)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-call: Rotating call, including weekends
• Unit: 3 Cardiac Cath Labs, 1 Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, 1 Hybrid Lab
• EMR System: Meditech
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Cath Lab Tech Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Proficient in both Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology (EP) procedures
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule, including weekends
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac diagnostic procedures, PCI, Impella, peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies
• Support advanced cardiac procedures including Impella, IABP, thrombectomy, and device implants
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio for optimal clinical care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including Registered Nurses (RNs), Cardiovascular Technologists (CVTs), and physicians
• Accurately document procedures and patient information using Meditech EMR
• Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and dress code requirements
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases as needed
