PTA Job Details – Boston Healthcare Jobs

• Location: Boston, MA (02136 area)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1340 - $1440
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Setting: Outpatient Rehabilitation
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 4, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Schedule: 8-hour shifts
  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Tuesday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Thursday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Schedule: No major holidays, weekends, or on-call required
• Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual

Physical Therapy Assistant Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a healthcare setting
• Active PTA license from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
• CPR/AED Certification required
• Experience in outpatient hospital or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Knowledge of Epic or Clindoc documentation systems is a plus

PTA Responsibilities – Outpatient Rehab

• Deliver high-quality rehabilitation therapy to patients in an outpatient clinical environment
• Support and implement individualized treatment plans under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes using Epic/Clindoc systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care and recovery
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and patient-focused environment
