PTA Job Details – Boston Healthcare Jobs
- Location: Boston, MA (02136 area)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1340 - $1440
- Employment Type: Travel Contract
- Setting: Outpatient Rehabilitation
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 4, 2026)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Schedule: 8-hour shifts
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Tuesday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Thursday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Schedule: No major holidays, weekends, or on-call required
- Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual
Physical Therapy Assistant Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a healthcare setting
- Active PTA license from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
- CPR/AED Certification required
- Experience in outpatient hospital or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Knowledge of Epic or Clindoc documentation systems is a plus
PTA Responsibilities – Outpatient Rehab
- Deliver high-quality rehabilitation therapy to patients in an outpatient clinical environment
- Support and implement individualized treatment plans under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes using Epic/Clindoc systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care and recovery
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and patient-focused environment
