Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Henrico, VA 23229 (Richmond area)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology Unit
• Contract Type: Travel healthcare contract
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/2/2026 – End: 5/4/2026)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:00)
• Hours per Week: 40

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,220 - $2,380

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience
• Active RT-R (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Strong multi-tasking skills and adaptability
• Neuro IR experience preferred

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including PICC and central line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, embolizations, filter placements, neuro procedures, and biopsies
• Operate advanced imaging equipment (Phillips Biplane) and maintain accurate records using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with registered nurses (RNs), other radiology technologists, and patient care technicians to ensure high-quality clinical support
• Participate in after-hours on-call coverage (weekdays 6pm-7am, 24hr weekends as scheduled)
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, contributing to a positive healthcare team atmosphere
• Adhere to hospital policies and wear hospital-provided scrubs
