Radiologic Technologist Job Details
- Location: Sterling, VA 20166 – Northern Virginia healthcare jobs
- Facility: Hospital – Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology
- Assignment Type: Travel healthcare contract
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025, End: 3/30/2026)
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8 Hour Days)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2220–$2380
- Team Structure: 2 Registered Nurses (RNs), 2 Radiology Techs per shift
- Technology: INNOVA, assist, MacLab
- Documentation: Meditech and MacLab
- Dress Code: Hospital-issued scrubs
- Call Requirements: No nights, no weekends, no on-call shifts
Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
- Experience as a cardiac catheterization scrub tech highly preferred
- Special Procedures Tech certification preferred
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
- Proficiency with INNOVA, assist, and MacLab imaging equipment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
- Scrub and support medical staff during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain advanced imaging equipment
- Accurately document procedures and patient data using Meditech and MacLab systems
- Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout all procedures
- Collaborate with RNs, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional clinical support
