- Schedule: 4 days per week
- Shift: 10-hour days (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 0–1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred; electrophysiology (EP) experience is mandatory.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program, associate degree in a healthcare-related field, or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA) required; PALS required for pediatric facilities
- Preferred Credentials: RCIS, RCES, RCS, ARRT (R), CI, CV, VI, RDMS, RDCS, RVT or equivalent
- Licensure: Texas MRT or LMRT as applicable by modality — eligible to work in Texas
- Skills: Strong EP recording system knowledge, fluoroscopy operation, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile technique, and intra-procedural rhythm interpretation
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cath lab and electrophysiology procedure rooms; verify imaging, EP recording, and documentation systems for procedural readiness
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging and EP equipment (fluoroscopy, digital acquisition, hemodynamic monitors, EP mapping/recording systems)
- Scrub and assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures; anticipate provider needs and maintain patient safety
- Document patient/procedure data, hemodynamic measurements, contrast usage, and rhythm interpretation accurately during cases
- Set up and operate specialized cath lab technologies: IVUS, ICE, contrast injector, IABP, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, LVAD support equipment
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and immediately address any breaks in the sterile field
- Act as a radiation safety advocate and follow ALARA best practices to protect patients and staff
- Assist with patient positioning, transport, access site management, and post-procedure monitoring and handoffs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and cath lab staff to promote efficient case flow, communication, and a culture of safety
