This 15-week travel nursing opportunity is based in central Boston (02114) and offers exposure to complex surgical and critically ill adult patients. - Position: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Burn ICU
- Location: Boston, MA 02114 (Boston healthcare, Massachusetts)
- Contract Length: 15 weeks
- Start Date: April 12, 2026
- End Date: July 25, 2026
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020 – $2130
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, day/night rotating; weekends and holidays as needed
- Openings: 3 positions

- Setting: Adult Burn ICU (majority surgical and medical ICU patients)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active RN license (verification required) — eligible to work in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required (ICU RN, critical care nurse)
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Experience with adult surgical, burn, and/or medical ICU populations preferred
- Ability to complete all compliance and onboarding requirements prior to start (medication exam, skills checklist, background checks, health screenings)
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert bedside care to critically ill adult patients, including complex surgical, burn, and high-acuity medical ICU cases
- Perform comprehensive assessments, continuous monitoring, and rapid response to clinical changes with strong critical thinking
- Manage ventilators, titrate vasoactive medications, and administer critical care IV infusions per protocols
- Provide advanced hemodynamic monitoring, central line care, and other ICU-specific interventions
- Collaborate closely with APPs, physicians, residents, and the multidisciplinary ICU team to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care
- Educate and support patients and families during high-stress and acute care situations
- Maintain strict adherence to patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards
